Today, Sri Lanka remains one of the primary producers of cinnamon bark oil.

Extraction Process

Cinnamon bark oil is obtained through steam distillation of the inner bark of the cinnamon tree. The resulting oil has a warm, spicy aroma and ranges in color from pale yellow to reddish-brown.
